Global Goal 4 – Quality Education - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Dear Families,
We have reached the end of March and what a fabulous month of learning it has been! We have had a number of parent events that included the 'OPAL Stay and Play' this week, Maths workshops and, for the first time, Reception presented their class assemblies and were fantastic! We have had many trips/visits, Book week, Science week, as well as celebrating Neurodiversity week, and we have noticed that the sun is shining with the temperature starting to get warmer! We would still like to encourage families to bring in coats that have your child's full name, as it is quite cold in the mornings.
We still have a wonderful week of learning ahead before the Easter break, and we cannot wait to see some more of your amazing family home learning.
Next Friday will mark the end of the Spring Term, and, as usual, we will finish at 1.30pm on that day, so please make sure your child is collected on time.
Nursery will finish for the Easter break on Thursday 3rd April.
Daylight Saving Spring Update
A reminder that on Sunday 30th March, the clocks will be going forward by one hour as Daylight Saving Time ends.
Please take a moment to adjust your clocks accordingly to avoid any confusion on Sunday morning.
This change may also affect your child’s schedule, so we encourage you to plan for any adjustments to bedtime or morning routines.

UNCRC - Rights of a child
As part of our British Values, we learn and celebrate 'Mutual Respect', understanding that people should respect each other's rights, beliefs, and cultures.
So, this week, the RRS Ambassadors would like to share 'Article 4': Governments must make sure that children’s rights are protected and governments must make sure other people respect children’s rights.
It would be great for you to discuss the school's values of 'Show Respect, Do your best and Make the right choices', to really encourage our motto of 'Stronger Together'.

We are a Fit4Life Charter School
We are still seeing families bringing in unhealthy snacks for their children at the end of the day.
Please can I remind you that you are not permitted to bring unhealthy snacks onto school the site.

Outstandingly Happy Harrow School!
Belmont pupils and staff are always looking to live outside their zone of comfort and, as part of this, we would like to share the following quote with you:
