Global Goal 4 – Quality Education - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Dear Families,
As we approach the end of November, we’re embracing the crisp, chilly days that this season brings. It’s wonderful to see your children engaged in their learning and enjoying outdoor learning.
We’d like to take this opportunity to remind everyone about the importance of appropriate clothing as the colder weather sets in. Please ensure your child comes to school dressed warmly with named hats, gloves, and scarves to keep them comfortable during outdoor activities. Layering is a great way to stay warm while still being able to adjust to indoor temperatures. Do make sure that your children come into school wearing the correct school uniform.
Your children have taken part in Armistice Day, Guy Fawkes learning, Diwali Celebrations, Antibullying week, raised for Children in Need, and enjoyed Maths Week by dressing up as Rockstars! We have held Phonic Mornings, Nursery Stay and Play sessions and had 2 very exciting assemblies from 4 Venus and 4 Mars. It has been an exciting last few weeks, with more excitement yet to come! We would like to thank you for your continued support and feedback!
The school kitchen renovation has been a huge success, and we even had a visit from the HCL CEO during National School Meals Week:
Fit4Life Family Charter - Unhealthy after-school snacks
As mentioned in the last newsletter, we are a Fit4Life school. We have noticed an increase in families packing unhealthy food as snacks for children to eat during after clubs. As we have children who have many allergies, we are now asking parents not to pack a snack as the clubs finish at 4pm.
Outstandingly Happy Harrow School!
The pupils in Year 5 have been learning more about living outside their zone of comfort and would like you to reflect upon how you could live your life as a 2%er:
Please do use this to share how you are working in the 2% Mindset mode with your children at home:
I would like to thank Chloe in Year 6, who nominated her sister to be awarded a 2%er badge for helping her at home! What a lovely way to recognise the ripple effect at home! Congratulations to Chloe's sister!
