Global Goal 4 – Quality Education - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been a tremendous last couple of weeks with your children completing amazing learning and the learning environments reflecting some of that learning!
Staff have been working really hard to ensure that your children are able to access their learning online. If you are finding it difficult to login into any of our online platforms, do speak to Mr Baig or your child's class teacher so that we can sort it our quickly.
RRS Gold Award Re-accreditation
We are pleased to announce that in December we were re-accredited as a Gold Rights Respecting School!
We could not have done this without your ongoing parental support, our wonderful pupils and amazing staff. So please do spread the word!
A huge thank you to Mrs Bachoo for coordinating and organising the day! We are all so proud of our achievement!
Year 4 Class Assemblies
A huge congratulation to 4 Mars who presented a wonderful assembly this morning on energy conservation! Its is vital that we do our part as part to reverse climate change, and you all delivered that message effectively!
Last week we had 4 Neptune teach us all about 'Chinese New Year'. They were wonderful and kick-started the New Year, with a wonderful assembly. Well done!
Thank you to all the parents who attended both of the class assemblies and a reminder that 4 Venus's assembly is next Friday!
Year 6 SATs meeting
Miss Brake and Mrs Bachoo hosted a parent information meeting about the Year 6 SATS. We have uploaded the presentation on our website and will be pinging it out to parents. If you have any questions about the SATS do speak to your child's class teacher.
Keeping Children Safe Parent Workshops
As a school, we have been chosen to be part of a Harrow wide safeguarding project. This project has been funded through the John Lyons Charity and will be delivered in schools across Ealing, Brent and Harrow. The project aims to support schools to develop a whole school approach to keeping children safe. As you will be aware, safeguarding is at the forefront of everything we do at Belmont School, therefore we feel this project will build on the outstanding safeguarding work we already do and will ensure that pupils, staff, parents and governors have increased understanding of how to keep children safe.
As part of this project, we will be running a series of parent workshops focused on keeping children safe. Each workshop will focus on a different aspect of safeguarding and parents who attend three or more workshops will receive a certificate of completion.
Below are the dates and topics for the workshops at our school. Each workshop will start at 9am and will last for approximately 60 minutes.
