Global Goal 4 – Quality Education - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Dear Parents and Carers,
It is sunny outside and the temperature is starting to warm up! It is essential that your child comes into school wearing the correct uniform!
We are very nearly at the end of the Spring Term, and it has been another great term of learning. Your children show great dedication to wanting to know more, and it is important that we encourage this process at home. Next week is the deadline for completing this half-terms home learning grids. We will also be emailing our Spring Term Interim Reports to all parents. EYFS and Key Stage 1, will have their reports emailed out on Wednesday 30th March and Key Stage 2, will be emailed out on Thursday 31st March. Please make sure you check your junk mail if you have not received your child's report.
Over the holidays, we are encouraging all children to continue with completing online learning to use the Reading Planet, Numbots and Times Tables Rock Stars app. If you need any help with logins or logging in to any of these, do not hesitate to make an appointment with Mr Baig, our Computing Technician, who will be on hand to support you.
Last day arrangements – Friday 1st April
We normally finish early on the last day of term, and we plan to do so this term too. The following end of day staggered times will be in place for Friday 1st April only:
- Year 6 will finish school at 1.00pm
- Year 5, 4 and 3 will finish school at 1.05pm.
- Stargazers, Reception and Year 1 and 2 will finish school at 1.15pm
- The Nursery classes will not be open on Friday 1st April and will finish at the normal time on Thursday 31st March!
The classes will be dismissed following the usual procedures; through the main walkway and gate. All parents and pupils must follow the one-way system around the car park and exit will be through the vehicle access gate.
Please ensure that you are on time to collect your child/ren and do join the ends of the queueing system outside the school if you have children in other year groups.
