Global Goal 4 – Quality Education - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back into the New Year and new term. It has been lovely seeing you all return and I hope you all had a safe and peaceful break.
We have so much exciting learning planned, and we cannot wait to launch our terms Exploration of 'Known, Now and Next'. Your child's learning will focus on historical, present and futuristic knowledge and skills, based on sustainable initiatives.
We have reviewed our Home Learning Policy and will be publishing half termly home learning for pupils to consolidate their understanding through the set home learning tasks below:
All pupils must complete the tasks by Friday 11th February 2021.
All pupils are expected to do the following weekly set task alongside:
- Daily reading—The expectation is that your child will read daily for a minimum of 20 minutes at home.
- Weekly maths – Continue to use Numbots/Timetable Rock Stars weekly.
- Weekly Spellings
Education must develop every child’s personality, talents and abilities to the full. We can’t wait to see what pupils do and look forward to seeing their wonderful home learning.
We trialled a new reading programme before the holidays and I can say that we have brought into the Rising Stars Rocket Phonics and Reading Rockets programmes.
