Global Goal 4 – Quality Education - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Dear Parents and Carers,
As you know, the government announced updated measures due to a new COVID-19 variant of concern 'Omicron'. School's have been given updated guidance, and we want to reassure you that we were already following most of these measures and will continue to do so, e.g. enhanced cleaning of high touch areas within the school, restriction of visitors on site, all adults wearing face covering during busy periods and ensuring we are following good hygiene, ventilation protocols.
Can I remind you all to not send pupils into school if they have the following symptoms:
- A continuos cough
- A high temperature
- Loss of smell/taste
Please book a PCR test and inform the school as soon as you get the result.
We are still preparing pupils for end of term performances for Nursery, Reception and Year 1, these will now be recorded and you will be able to access this through your child's one note by the end of next week. We are not permitting exchange of gifts or Christmas Cards again this year. We want to minimise the risk of transmission so that families can enjoy the Christmas break when it comes.
We will be having our Christmas Lunch this Wednesday, so please make sure you book in advance via Parent Pay to avoid disappointment.
A huge thank you parents for your support on our very first TTRS Maths dress up day! Staff and pupils all looked like rock legends and had a fun day of Maths learning.
As the pupils and staff enjoyed dressing up so much last week, we will be asking all who come to school to wear 'Funky Jumpers' for the last week of term. So dust off those seasonal jumpers and let's make next week fabulous!
Finally, a reminder, to avoid queueing up, please ensure that you arrive on time and wait until staff let you know that you can come in. Pupils should be waiting with parents until it is their allocated time to come into school and remember we are role modelling behaviour to our pupils, be respectful and wait your turn when entering the school site. Wearing a face covering is mandatory, unless you are exempt.
I will be writing to you later on this week to finalise end of term arrangements. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
Have a great learning week.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs P Aggarwall
Headteacher (Acting)
