Global Goal 4 – Quality Education - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Dear Parents and Carers,
It's hard to believe that we only have three weeks left till the end of term. The staff and pupils continue to work really hard in school to ensure progress and below you will find examples of some amazing poetry that was written by our Year 5 pupils' based on last week's learning centred around Anti-bullying Week.
We are also planning end of term events that will make this Christmas more exciting in school than we could last year. But, we are mindful that the circumstances may change. So before we announce events, we will review our risk assessment and let you know. This also applies for handing out Christmas cards and presents.
A reminder that we will be having our Christmas Lunch on Wednesday 8th December 2021. Please make sure you book in advance via Parent Pay to avoid disappointment.
I would like to remind you that the weather has changed, it is getting colder. Please make sure that your children come into school with a coat that has a hood and all their clothing is labelled with their name and class. Do remember that we have a uniform policy and all pupils MUST wear the correct uniform outlined below.
I would like to thank you all for you kind generosity and words that you were able to share with us over the last few weeks.
We managed to raise a staggering £777.75 for the Poppy Appeal and £548.58 for Children in Need. All of your kindness and generosity will go to help many people who need the support and reminds us of how lucky we are to have a community that demonstrates our value of being 'Stronger Together'.
As part of our 'Stronger Together' commitment, please can you be mindful of your language that you are using in front of children and how you enter and exit the school. To avoid queueing up, please ensure that you arrive on time and wait until staff let you know that you can come in.
If you have any issues or concerns, please do not hesitate to speak to any member of staff on duty.
We hope you have a restful weekend and look forward to another exciting week of learning.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs P Aggarwall
Headteacher (Acting)
